This piece was inspired by a vision I received during one of my shamanic journeys.
I chose Mother of Pearl for this version of the Sea Star because it carries the medicine of quiet resilience. In water traditions across cultures, pearls and shells have long been associated with protection, reverence, and the divine feminine. Mother of Pearl forms under pressure as the oyster transforms what could have been an irritation into something luminous. The sea star regenerates what it loses and continues on.
This piece holds both of those teachings. A reminder that resilience isn't always loud, and transformation doesn't always happen through force. Sometimes the greatest strength is found in trusting your own ability to heal, regenerate, and shine again.
